In
order to help us provide the best possible service, please
read and follow the subsequent instructions on submitting
samples to SeqWright. Customers may also download our supplementary
SHIPPING
INFORMATION PAGE (MS WORD
format) for additional information.
Project
Description Form:
A
completed Project Description Form must be included with
all project sample submissions to SeqWright. The form has
fields for contact and billing information, services requested,
and sample information, which should all be filled out by
the customer. The form also asks for data retrieval preferences
as well as special requirements needed for completing the
project. It is very important that this form is filled out
completely and correctly in order to assure that a project
is completed as intended by the investigator.
Customers
must provide either a purchase order number or credit card
number on the completed Project Description Form. Not providing
this information may lead to delays in completing the project.
Project
Description Forms are available for download,
or one may be completed online by clicking on the link below.
Submitting a Project Description Form online may result
in faster processing and turnaround of the project.

DNA
Preparation:
DNA
should be purified by column or gel purification methodologies.
Any of the commercially available column purification systems
will produce DNA of sufficient quality for sequencing. Please
indicate on the Project Description Form whether or not
the DNA has been purified, and if so, list
the method/kit used.

Submitting
96- & 384-well Plates:
Please
fill out the sample information fields of the Project
Description Form as outlined below. DNA
samples and primers must be submitted in separate plates.
Samples must be arranged descending vertically (A1, B1...)
as shown in the diagram below.

Shotgun
Library Constructions:
For
custom shotgun library construction or for shotgun sequencing
services, the customer must provide either 100µg of
purified DNA or a clone from which to grow and purify DNA.
DNA should be prepared either by commercial column methods
or by CsCl gradient. Warning: Contamination of plasmid or
BAC DNA by genomic DNA will make sequencing of the library
very difficult and can necessitate the reconstruction of
a library.
Shipping
Instructions:
All
samples (tubes/plates) should be properly sealed and shipped
in shock-resistant packaging in order to prevent damage
during shipment. Purified DNA should be sent in either TE
or water and may be shipped at room temperature. Plates
and stabs may also be sent at RT. Glycerol stock cultures
should be sent on dry ice.
Please
send all sample submissions to the following address:
